Here's what worked, and what didn't
The accommodation exuded charm with its tastefully decorated, comfortable spaces. I loved the little touches, like fresh milk in the fridge!
I was disturbed by early cleaning noise that interrupted my much-needed rest. The en-suite bathroom could be cramped, which may not suit everyone's comfort.

The provided service was efficient. The rooms were well-appointed and beautifully presented with required things, like a patio, a mini-fridge, and coffee. The packed breakfast was the best. The hotel had a lovely location a minute walk from Steven Brown Art.

We had a fantastic family getaway! The location was perfect, just a short 4-minute walk to Wellington Square, and we enjoyed golfing nearby. The shared kitchen was a hit with everyone. Tina, my fiancé, loved the spacious room and comfy bed.
My kids wished for a bigger sink in the bathroom.

Beautiful old Edwardian house perfectly modernized. The short walk to the town and beach makes it an ideal location. The communal kitchen is well-equipped and there's a lovely outdoor patio for enjoying refreshments. Parking permits are a plus. However. A small suggestion would be for more grab bars for safety. A fantastic living experience!

The culinary scene near Barns is ace! Hit up Lychees for some great Asian nosh, then stroll down to Saffy's for a cozy bite. Plus, the communal kitchen at the stay was a gem. Very clean and perfect for a cheeky cook-up.
The only thing I'd nitpick is that the bathroom could use a couple of hooks, but honestly, it shines otherwise!

The communal kitchen stands out with its spacious setup, perfect for cooking. The decor throughout the place is tasteful.
The en-suite bathrooms are quite cramped. If you're on the taller side like me, you may feel boxed in. The absence of universal charging ports might leave you scrambling for outlets, and while the fridge is useful, it can be a noisy companion during the night. Some rooms lack adequate hooks for hanging towels, which might make organizing things a hassle.

This was just a prime choice for a weekend stopover in Ayr with best value. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, made for a refreshing start to the day. Check the location of the heated towel rail switch, it's not obvious.

Absolutely fine stay! Loved the comfy bed, super clean room, and the quirky touches like USB lamps and a tea tray with Scottish goodies. Plus, the location was perfect-walked everywhere!
The bathroom was a bit cramped. I reminded me of a giraffe in a dollhouse! A few more coffee options would've been good.
